Karin and I invited Lindsay to "Rae's," a 'home cookin'-style diner known to movie goers and commercial watchers everywhere, here in Santa Monica on Thursday.

Karin listened to Lindsay, very carefully.

And then we went to the Santa Monica Pier to listen to the "Blues" and "Gospel" music that I was wanting to hear.

But, the gals weren't so interested in the music as they were about the Beach Scene.

Lindsay and Karin walked up the beach, trading notes.

We laughed a lot.

And made an early evening of it, since it was a school night.
